Our Core Philosophy: Paying it Forward

At Young World Educare, we believe in promoting acts of generosity and kindness that truly make a tangible difference. Every act of goodwill ripples into a chain reaction of pure goodness—we build communities by paying it forward!

Supporting Grassroots Care Groups

Small organizations, local care groups, and non-profits often lack the necessary expertise, work on virtually no budget, and have very few resources. By joining the Young World Network, these groups can participate in our broad awareness and fundraising efforts, naturally becoming beneficiaries of our shared resources and support systems.

Vredefort Action: Unity in Motion

Vredefort Action is a sustained giving society of community members committed to real, measurable action. As a community-led, non-political initiative, we harness the power of co-operation and collective savings to achieve critical financial and social objectives.

Our mission is to alleviate and combat poverty by enlisting the collaboration and professional expertise of mature, responsible, and reliable people. As a multi-functional group, we are constantly seeking innovative ways to improve and uplift Vredefort, dealing directly with poverty and other localized concerns affecting our town.

We firmly believe that a collective voice is a powerful voice.

Our Key Initiatives & Collaborations:

  • Job Creation & Feeding Schemes: In direct cooperation with Vredefort Hartshuis, we offer job creation and volunteering opportunities to residents of Mokwallo and the Vredeshoop community, addressing hunger and promoting the common welfare of all residents.
  • Free Skills Development: Supported by Young World Educare (a DSD-registered NPO), we transfer vital, free employment skills to empower local individuals.
  • Strategic Affiliations: Because Vredefort is a small town, our small association affiliates with larger groups to achieve big goals. Our members actively participate in the Ngwathe Community Forum meetings to help address the regional water crises, sanitation issues, and other community-critical infrastructure challenges.
  • A Voice for the Vulnerable: We act as a mouthpiece for everyone sharing our living environment, including the homeless and individuals without an income.
  • The Cornerstone Forum: We have established a collaborative platform at Cornerstone, where individuals, organizations, and volunteers come together to build concrete solutions for the local homeless community.
