Volunteers

The non-profit organization, Young World Educare NPO 015-909 was registered with the Department of Social Development (DSD) in 2001 and is at the forefront of changing the lives of the people in the small town, Vredefort, with our WOMAN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM by training female Caregivers and POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM training male Health Promoters and offering inhouse volunteer job opportunities, thereby boosting employability and improve future income possibilities. The long-term vision is to provide holistic upliftment of the entire Vredefort community.  Volunteers trained by Young World Educare offer supporting services at Vredefort Affinity Internet Cafe and to the residents of the Vredefort Harthuis. The Hartshuis is a sustainable human settlement, integrating social, cultural, ecological, and economic principles

Vredefort Eco-Social Design

  • Volunteer Base: ~50 individuals working in 2 teams, providing hands-on care for elderly, frail, and psychiatric residents, as well as supporting children and teenagers.
