Our Global Mission & Local Impact

Changing Perceptions, Changing Lives

Young World Educare is built on the power of awareness education. We turn local advocacy into a worldwide effort to benefit groups of people living in adversity and oppression.

Awareness is the vital first step toward changing behavior. By shifting cultural norms and sparking conversation, we bring positive energy, restore hope, and create a better future for vulnerable individuals.

Our Strategic Vision: Driving Collective Action

Our long-term goal is to drive lasting social change through strategic awareness campaigns that alter public perceptions. We act as a bridge to encourage decisive action from key global and local role-players, including:

  • Government Departments & NGOs
  • The Private & Corporate Sectors
  • National & International Institutes
  • Clinicians & Specialized Research Experts

Local Roots: Serving Vredefort, Parys, and Hartshuis

While our vision is global, our hands-on work is deeply rooted in our local communities. Young World Educare is a people-centred community organisation dedicated to meeting the immediate needs of residents in Vredefort and Parys.

We proudly provide continuous, comprehensive support services to the residents living at the Hartshuis Care Centres, ensuring they receive the daily care and dignity they deserve.

Driven by Purpose: Our End Goal

At Young World Educare, every plan we make—whether it is for community programming or fundraising—flows directly out of our commitment to our mission. We organize our resources entirely around the people we serve.

Our ultimate end goal is to improve the overall quality of life for individuals by:

  • Enhancing Education & Skills Training: Helping people stand on their own feet financially, professionally, and personally.
  • Creative Expression: Using art and music as powerful tools for personal expression, healing, and coping.
  • Health & Trauma Support: Guiding individuals through the process of understanding and managing physical, mental, emotional, or sexual health conditions, as well as overcoming the trauma of abuse.
